Tuesday, Dec. 4th, at 7pm, will be Utah Co. ARES tabletop SET, or Simulated Emergency Test. This will be the December Interface at the Sheriff’s Office North Annex.

A special invitation to all new hams and those not ARES members-please come and mingle with us.

If you are working on your certification levels, this will qualifiy for one of the two SET’s. A tabletop SET means you won’t be standing out in the cold and trying to program your radio with frozen fingers.

If you’ve every participated in an Utah Co. ARES event, and want to try your hand at being the Event Director then come to this SET and we’ll make you one for a few hours on paper.

We had alot of events and callouts in 2007 and some ‘hiccups’ at these events will be included in this activity. So if you think you have the diplomatic means to create world peace, or that ‘bring it on’ attitude’when everything is going wrong, then we’ll see you Dec. 4th.
