Repeaters & Frequencies
UCARES maintains, or has access to a lot of repeaters! We are grateful to receive support from the Utah County Sheriff's office, local community groups, and generous Ham Operators for equipment and location support.
UCARES repeaters are open to amateur radio operators unless specified below, or actively being used for official UCARES events. As always, emergency and event traffic take priority on the repeater system. Please use common courtesy while using any repeater.
UCARES maintains a microwave network linking our repeater sites that does not have direct access to the internet. We have a few servers that act as bridges between this private network and the internet, allowing us to stream live audio and interconnect with other repeater systems. The view updates once per second. The UCARES repeaters are not internet dependent, enabling our team to quickly re-configure repeater links to meet situational needs.
