Utah County ARES will be holding our monthly interface meeting on February 1, 2005, at 1900 (7pm). We will be meeting at the BYU EOC (which is a change from previous announcements).
We will be fortunate to have Adam Steed, KE7BZX, speak to us on his recent trip to Sri Lanka. Also, we will hear from Randy Frank, KD7URK, from the American Red Cross, on the flooding in Southern Utah.
The BYU EOC is located in 1164 A/B of the BYU Conference Center. The Conference Center is located on the far East end of the Marriott Center North parking lot. Just look for a group of vehicles with antennas and callsign license plates. A sign will be posted at the building entrance. Talk-in will be on the UCARES repeater, 147.340+ (pl 100.0).
We will also talk about recent changes in UCARES leadership, the upcoming cold weather SET, and the public service event calendar for 2005.
The weekly UCARES net will follow at 2100 (9pm) on the 147.340 repeater.
