UCARES mailing lists: outdated, will be updated soon!
If you are wanting to participate in UCARES events, it is strongly encouraged that you join the UCARES mailing lists. ( http://lists.ucares.org/mailman/listinfo ) Many of the events and activities are organized through the mailing lists. There are 4 different mailing lists each for a specific purpose:
UCARES This is the primary mailing list used for most of the UCARES event planning and general questions and discussions.
UCARES-announce This list is used primarily announcements from the UCARES organization.
UCARES-forsaleThis list is used for posting items for sale or trade.
Pagers This list is used for sending general call-out pages to the Cell phone or pagers of UCARES members. It is only used for alerting UCARES members of a call-out, but may be tested once or twice a year. If you know the email address your Cellular phone provider uses to send SMS messages to your phone, you can add that e-mail to this list.
