Level Four
At this level, our objective is to help you become a reliable participant in emergency operations. You have the equipment and skills to operate independently, portably, or in a group setting. You are a comfortable amateur radio operator, competent Net Control operator, and able to cooperate with non-amateur participants.

3. All DC ham equipment, handhelds excluded, should be equipped with Anderson power poles

Liaison Visits
At this point, you should be familiar with your local EOCs. Please plan on visiting your EOCs during a simplex net regularly. The goal is 6x per year.
Talk with your local (home / work) EOC liaisons about how you can support EOC operations, such as operating as NCS / ANCS.
Participation Log
9. Present a Ham related topic at a UCARES Monthly Interface or Zoom Workshop
Your presentation must be coordinated with our interface coordinator (interface@ucares.org)
10. Six UCARES Weekly Nets (two must be simplex)
11. Present two training items for UCARES Weekly Nets
12. Serve as Assistant Net Control (ANCS) for two UCARES Weekly Nets
13. Serve as Net Control (NCS) for four UCARES Weekly Nets
14. One UCARES Sponsored SET (Simulated Emergency Training Net)
15. Two separate UCARES sponsored public service events or official UCARES callouts (one as Net Control).

16. Organize radio communications for two UCARES sponsored public service events
