Threat Level Raised

Greetings All,
As we approach the peak of our holiday season, I would like to wish each of you a happy holiday and thank all of those who have contribuated to our missions.

As we enter the final week of Christmas, our threat level has again been raised in response to increased traffic monitored by our intelligence community. As an active MARS/SHARES station, it means I will be monitoring the emergency frequencies more, and signing into the nets to post availability reports. I hope all of you are prepared to respond if the call comes.

I would like to thank again all those that helped during the Elizabeth Smart search, and attended the Homeland Security conference this past November. I enjoyed getting to see many of you again, and hope to stay in contact as the years go by.

I now have the book on CD with over 175 pictures from the search available for $10 plus shipping, (the book is $16.00) for ARES and Emergency managers to use as a reference for future operations. You can order it from the website (listed under my call on this site), drop me an email and I will send it to you.

I have upgraded to Extra this past weekend, one of the last goals I wanted to accomplish before final retirement.

One again, I want to wish each of you a happy and successful holiday season and new year. It was an honor to serve with so many of you during the search
