BYU’s “Red Week” Watch

Each year, BYU hams and other hams who volunteer participate in a campus watch during the week leading up to the BYU v. UofU game to help make sure school spirit doesn’t cross the line and turn into vandalism. Unfortunately, due to some poor communication (ironic, eh), a push for help hasn’t been made until this point. We are desperate for any hams willing to participate.

Shifts will run Monday through Friday nights. There are two shifts each night: 11pm – 2am and then 1:30am – 4am. On Saturday night there will be also be a shift, but it will only be from 10pm – 11:30pm.

As in previous years, hot chocolate and donuts will be provided by the police department and we do our best to keep each other entertained during the night. Spouses and friends are more than welcome to come also!

If you can help at all, please go to BYUARC’s Website and sign up or you can email the club’s service coordinator at this link: (the desperate soul who is posting this). Feel free to also email me with any questions also or you can call me at 418-1111 in the evenings. We hope to see you there!
